Our good friends used to run the kids clothing/toy shop right around the corner. June and their daughter took violin lessons from another friend in one of the extra rooms and every Friday, the four parents would enjoy parking lot beers while the girls sawed away upstairs. It was the highlight of the week. Unfortunately, the store didn’t work out, and our friends ended up getting rid of the rest of the inventory and subletting the space.
