Also spotted on this hike: a uniquely New Hampshire way of being a little obnoxious in the outdoors. On the way up, we saw three guys with remote control trucks slowly walking up the mountain and driving over rocks and through mud. Then, at the top, a whole gaggle of folks with a matching gaggle of trucks:

We sat down next to the pond and watched (and listened) as they made their way back down the mountain:

And of course our kids were like, “so, when are we getting OUR remote control trucks??”
