The next few posts are long overdue: Halloween pics!

First off, Portsmouth/Kittery takes Halloween VERY seriously. People put decorations up way in advance and leave them up for a while after the holiday. There’s a big parade in Portsmouth and people are so into it that there’s a universal understanding that trick-or-treating in Kittery is done on the 30th so that people are free on the 31st.

June and I went for several walks around Portsmouth while Otis was in Spanish lessons to look at decorated houses. We found a cool old graveyard with winged skull graves. And lots of spiders:
