The kids were excited to ride the subway between terminals (which we did on the way down to Florida). I was excited to ride the “mobile lounge” (which we did on the way back home):

I’ve always loved these things. They make me feel like I’m in a Star Wars sandcrawler. Here’s a promotional video for the mobile lounge (made by Charles and Ray Eames!) from back when they first came up with the idea:
Highlights include the dude reading Playboy (7:00) and the narrator bragging about how the lounges will shield the passengers from noxious fumes as the film shows a smug looking guy who appears to be smoking a pipe (7:20). Interesting, too, how the original idea was for the mobile lounge to take you right to the plane. Now they just ferry you between gigantic terminals…
