On a recent trip down to Massachusetts, Otis suddenly declared that lobster was his favorite food. “Have you ever even had lobster?” came the response. “No, I just think I’d like it.”

And so it came to pass that grandma CC purchased a large crustacean from Guido’s in Pittsfield (just one, mind you) and went through all of the traditional rigmarole of preparing it (giant lobster pot and everything). Otis was pretty excited, but when it came time to actually eat the thing, was unimpressed:
