The day before this hike, we got hit by a pretty heavy rainstorm on a bike ride over by Horseshoe Lake. The weather was supposed to be clear this time, though, so we went for it. When we got near the top of the mountain a lady told us that she’d seen a rainstorm off in the distance but was sure it’d miss us.

It didn’t.

But it didn’t last long either. And then we had nice views and the whole mountain to ourselves!
