The snow was fresh on the trail up to Elephant Head in Malone. There was one set of footprints and it was clear they were from earlier that morning. Based on the tread, they didn’t seem like the best choice for the conditions and whoever was wearing them turned around halfway.
Since the tracks were fresh, they were very clear. You could even read the text on the logo. The weird thing, though, was that the logo compressed the snow in a such a way that in a couple cases it became detached from the rest of the footprint. Here’s one that we were able to pick up!
