After a short hike at Stone Valley, we were going to meet some friends at the new Raquette River Pub for beer and wings. It wasn’t open yet, so we changed the venue to the Barking Dog Saloon, across the street (and surrounded by) the local dump.

I guess they’re doing scrap metal recycling there now too, since we found several large dumpsters full of aluminum shavings. I took a bunch of pictures.
