Setting out on our hike to Avalanche Lake, we came across the first of many weird snow features we would encounter that day: a creepy snow baby in the middle of the trail. We didn’t see it on the way back and can only assume that, as a result of its creepy snow parents’ creepy snow negligence, it was run over by backcountry skiers.
