Sarah made me a Google Doc with a long list of cool things to check out in Orlando: parks, restaurants, beaches, and other tidbits garnered from the Internet. On my first free weekend, I thought I’d go for a long walk and check out some of the parks she recommended.

First stop: Dickson Azalea Park. I don’t know what an azalea is, but presumably I saw some. The park was top notch. Just a thin strip of planty land in the middle of the neighborhood but very lush with a bunch of citrus and palm trees. This palm appeared to have had some sort of palmy ailment.
