On a recent snowshoe/hike up to the Owl’s Head Lookout near Elizabethtown in the Adirondacks. (On the way down, Sarah and I made a breakthrough discovery: the snow on the trail was packed down enough to skip the snowshoes and just hike normally!) I went a little nuts taking pictures of shadows on the snow. I won’t bore away my few readers by posting all of them, but here’s one.
