Ever since we killed Sarah’s Subaru on the move up to Berkeley, she’s been in the market for a new car. (Going on 11 months now…) Mostly, she’s been looking at Elantras and Matrices. But then, on one of her epic Craigslist-scouring rampages, she had a bright idea.
Why not live the dream?!
If she bought a cheaper car (Civic), she’d have enough to get a sweet camper van too! May I present: Doris the Finkasaurus! 1980 VW Vanagon. (New engine: only 10,000 miles on the sucker!) Awesome!

The color is suspiciously similar to my infamous "Turd," a '65 Valiant that wandered between LA and the central coast for a couple years.
