
One of the galleries at the YV Art Museum had a collection of miniature dioramas (“shadow boxes”) by James Cennamo. There were a ton of them, but I was most excited to see this commemoration of an infamous Doors concert in Ann Arbor, the story of which has been told to me many times by a former delinquent who snuck in through an open window! (Tell it again in the comments, Pops!) For those that heard the tale, here’s an account of the concert from Michigan Today: “The Doors’ disaster at Michigan.”
