Some friends of ours started a summer concert series at Ives Park here in Potsdam. For one of the last concerts this season, they had the Crane Latin Ensemble playing in the gazebo. The concert was wonderful! There was a ton of people (both students and townies), loud fun music, and people dancing. This, Sarah and I agreed, is exactly the kind of thing that should be happening all the time in a town with a music school.
