mouse shed

We get a lot of mice in the winter. They come in for the warmth and the endless supply of free (dog)food. We catch ’em using humane traps. (The "Mice Cube" is our trap of choice.) But then we don’t know what to do with them. I’m pretty sure that when we take them out to the garage they either get eaten by the fat neighborhood cat or come back inside. If we leave them out in the snow, they probably freeze to death.

Our solution? Get in the car and drive them down the road a couple miles to this shed near a rickety old barn. Usually they run right in.
