Parishville

While out on the first ride of the year, I took a break in Parishville to scope out a potential swimming hole I’d seen on Google Maps. I had to walk downriver a bit from a place I’d been before. After following a path lined with pink ribbons, the trail ended. Fortunately for me, the big pipe to the hydroelectric plant crossed the river and had a little wooden bridge attached to one side.

I crossed, naturally, and continued to head downstream. Eventually I came across a series of somewhat secluded pools and waterfalls. A few days later, I brought Sarah and we decided that this place was first on the list once the weather’s appropriate.
