On a whim, Sarah and I decided to check out the antique boat museum in Clayton, NY. It was pretty nice! They had one exhibit with a bunch of sailing canoes, but for the most part it was all old power boats. They appeared to be doing pretty well, because most of these old boats were in pristine condition. I really liked the "hood" ornaments. This one reminded me of the bugs that have recently taken to splatting on our windshield.
(Also, why would a mermaid need wings?)
Many of the boats had similar names, most starting with "Miss": Miss Canada, Miss America, Miss Canada II, Miss Behave, you get the idea. Almost all of them are "no touch" but they did have a couple that you could climb up into. Here’s Sarah piloting the "Miss Climb Aboard":
