There’s a dam in the Raquette River right next to Sugar Island. We’ve been taking the dogs there for exercise and tick collecting. (They’ve got Frontline, so the ticks hop off of them and onto us.) There’s a giant green water pipe going into a hydroelectric plant at the dam, but first the water is stored in this giant, wood-planked tower.
