We visited Mom and Wally over Christmas. They live in Belchertown (seriously!) in central Massachusetts with two hyperactive (but adorable) little dogs.

Mom likes to hike and we were planning on checking out some waterfalls on Christmas Eve… But we dilly-dallied and ran out of daylight. As an alternative, we went to this lovely little park near Amherst. In the park there was a hill. And on this hill were two spectacular trees (with a bench that was not so spectacular, but still pretty nice in its own bench-y way).
