I recently kissed Windows XP goodbye and installed Linux on my laptop. I love it!

I’m currently using Photoshop through a Windows emulator (Wine) to process my photos, but am trying to wean myself off of proprietary software. GIMP is a good (free!) alternative that seems to be able to handle most of the actions I use Photoshop for. The auto color balance feature, however, tends to make things look a little unnatural. The picture above is an example.
