This moth had the gall to land on our living room window and hang out there pretty much all day! Can you believe that?

the upside down shades
In our living room, the shades come up from the bottom of the window. That way, you can have some privacy without having to sacrifice sunlight.
There are frequently some pretty nice shadows on there as well.
a little over a year
Well… It’s been a little over a year since I hit 1,000 and updated the way this blahg looks. I’ve tried to post one a day since then and, for the most part, have been pretty successful! (There were a few instances where I lapsed, but I tried to make up for those with bulk posts as soon as I noticed.)
In celebration of another year, I’m going to start posting bigger pictures. (As you can see.) It seems like most people have their monitors set to larger dimensions, so I’ll just try to keep up with the times.
Stay tuned for more exciting changes (!) in the weeks to come.

Dad and Lynne went back to Seguin! We weren’t able to make it out there this time, but we did get to hear plenty of gloating. (Mostly from Dad, but a little from Lynne.)
