I accidentally changed the ISO settings on my camera and had a few dozen photos come out a little too grainy. This one looks alright though!

Once, while I was out running with Anicia, I grabbed a lemon off of this tree down by the Berkeley Aquatic Park. It was adorably small, so I thought Sarah might like it. By the time we got back, however, I’d changed my mind and decided that an unripe lemon would’ve made a lousy gift. My backup plan was to stuff it between some rocks on the wall below Anicia’s apartment.

And there it stayed for many months…
