I was up in Eugene, OR for the annual meeting of the WCCMTA (that’s right, West Coast Conference of Music Theory and Analysis, baby!). I stopped in Bend on the way back to visit Travis. When it came time to leave, I had a serious hankering for some In n Out Burger. I figured: it was only a couple of hours to California, that should be doable. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the one in Redding and ended up driving a total of 437 before I spotted one.
