We went to Blowing Rocks Preserve to check out the blowholes. On our way to the rocks, we came across a small crowd huddled around something on the beach. A woman had fallen and smashed her face on one of the sharp rocks sticking out of the sand. Fortunately, Nurse Sarah was on the scene! Although she won’t admit it, Sarah was a big help, comforting the woman and her companion as the EMTs tried to figure out first how to get to her then how to get her safely off the beach. I was very proud!
