Sarah’s parents came up soon after we got to the hospital in Burlington. They were able to stay for a couple nights, but then had to get back to Manchester. Pops came up the evening of the day they left to take the torch, but there was a period in the middle of that day when Otis was grandparent-less. Figuring he would’ve gone a little crazy sitting around the hospital all afternoon, I took him out and left Sarah and the baby behind. We got burritos, went to a park, climbed a tower, swung on some swings, and got a cone at Ben and Jerry’s.
