But enough about the surf…

The other big highlight was the beach itself! Specifically, the small rocks that comprised the sand.

When I was a little kid, I used to go with my family to Jade Cove
in Big Sur. Jeremy and I would spend hours digging through the rocks and sand looking to make our fortune via the little green rocks that could be found amongst the rest of them.

It’s based on that experience that I’m now claiming that at least a couple of the green rocks in this picture are also jade. Needless to say, I picked them out and stuck them in my pocket.
